This is a sound i made in audacity by recording myself going "vvvvvvvvvvvvvv. . . " on two separate tracks and slowing them both down by 95% and adding a little bit of reverb. I think it's sort of convincing but i think it would be better if the pulse of the samples being copied a bunch of times kind of gives it away. Feel free to do what you like with it.

48khz-16 bit suburban soundcsape from france on a morning in early autumn. Cold rain in the foreground and the odd solitary bird. In the distance, the sound of a destruction team pulling apart buildings mixes with the phasing sound of the ring-road. Listening positions is against a wall facing a open grassy area and about 50 meters a block of flats bounces the sound back to us. Recorded in mono in november 2014 around 11 am with a akg ck91 cardio capsule / wendt 2x / mbox2 in pt. Http://www. Radio1. A slinky spring toy stretched out and plucked once from the end, recorded with a zeppelin design labs cortado impedance-matched piezo contact microphone. The resulting recording is a classic spring-based sci-fi "laser sound" with a massive, lengthy, rumbling decay tail. This was recorded at 24 bit 96 khz. In addition to its use as a sound effect, this waveform works well inside a convolution reverb as an offbeat spring reverb impulse response, provided one has the processor power and ram to support a 2 minute 13 second convolution. The cortado's bass response is exceptionally large for a contact mic, so high pass filtering may be desired if used as an impulse response.

One of my brothers came by spontaneously to say hello and he slammed the door behind him hahah. It was non-aggressive of course, the door is heavy and has to be slammed in order for it to be properly closed !. Little did my bro know that i was recording and that i managed to catch the door slam !. The house was dark, empty and quiet - he wondered wtf was going on lol. It sounds a bit distant, it's because i was in the bedroom and not in the entrance. This sound is natural too, which is perfect. Note: make sure to check out the other matrixxx-sounds! the sound quality is always better when you download the sound(s)! ⛄. Enjoy!/matrixxx.

A recording of, to me at least, is the symbolic sound of the later summer woods, when the blue jays become more vocal. These beautiful birds stay here in southern illinois all year long, and are a welcome flash of color and blue crest once autumn begins arriving. Now, i have always thought this call of the blue jay is not the prettiest or melodic at all; in fact, hearing the call of a blue jay can be a bit unnerving. . . But, to me, it is symbolic of the " wild " ness of nature. . . One of my most melancholy nature sound. . . Recorded on september 12th 2020 in southern illinois using the sony pcm m10 recorder with built-in microphones. Enjoy this sound!.

This was a happy accient. I was charging a drone battery though an adapter with overvoltage protection, which started beeping and increasing in frequency as the battery got close to full charge. There is a good bit of sound at the end, when i pulled off the battery and the capacitors in the charger discharged. :). Have fun with it! if you want, let me know what you did with it. Cheers!. Recorded on zoom f1 with xyh-5.

Some raw one-shots from my doepfer a-100 modular synthesizer recorded and edited using ni maschine. In my ears they sound way better with a bit of compression, but i thought the unprocessed files would be more useful. Naming is super vague. Recorded back in may 2014. It's always nice to hear what projects you use these sounds for. Let me know.

Sunday 7pm, big avenue with mid-intense traffic 100 meters far down hill, motorcycles, buses, some horns, few birds. Recorded with zoom h4n-pro 48 khz / 24 bit. Use freely on your personal commercial and non-commercial projects. Don't put this raw sounds/files on youtube or anywhere else. Line samples from a casio ap-45 on the default grand piano patch. Samples every c and g from c2 through to c9 with a short sustain. Velocity is pretty aggressive and it doesn't sound quite in tune to my ear. Feels like it's a little bit out. You may want to tune these yourself, if you plan to use them for anything significant. Minimal post processing on these. Just enough to get them roughly even in terms of overall volume.

Recording of clothes in the dry cleaner for a bit longer than one hour. I recorded this in order to use for my newborn to be able to fall asleep as white noise sound. Works pretty fine because of the repetition;at the end of the recording, the machine stops and restarts a few times for a few short cycles. Recorded with zoom h4n in mp3 format. Reduced background noise in audition. Exported to ogg because of large file size.

Estonia soon switches over to new electric trains. But the old ones still have that heritage. These are mended ones which aren't that characteristic anymore but still close enough sound describing the older electric trains. Here's a picture of the train:. Http://foto. Urmo. Door to stairwell opens and closes and someone walks up two sets of stairs, the first one slighty faster than the second. Then another door is opened and the walker enters an office where music is playing very softly and there's a bit of an office din. The office portion can also sound like entering a hotel lobby or outer waiting area of a symphony orchestra concert. The stairwell is concrete and metal. It's very echo-y. Recorded on a samsung galaxy s3.

My first recorded sound! it's actually just 6 secs long. I was on a vacation yesterday to a cottage resort, but it was a really rainy day. I decided to take out my $300 samsung to record a bit of the rain. I had the quality at 22khz, so the quality kinda sucks but it's still ok. I also have 2 more sounds (i couldn't record any more because my mic on the tablet broke and it only picks up static).

This is a sound i created by using three different things. I recorded my bathroom fan and altered the pitch, added a few cents and overlayed them at 50%, and added a band-pass filter. I also recorded batteries rolling across the bottom of a drawer, lowered the pitch a bit, and added a high pass filter. And then lastly i added some wind that i created by blowing into my hands. That i did not adjust at all. It sounds just like a thunderstorm.

This was in our backyard and i have no idea why the birds were doing this. I couldn't see them in the thick bushes and i couldn't tell how many there were. They just went on and on and i never heard them like this before except for maybe one or two squawking away at times. A bit of wind came up and a few background noises. Recorded on my yamaha pocketrak and edited in sony sound forge. Please comment on what you will use it for. :^).

This was recorded on july 4th, 2013 in enumclaw, wa. I was not expecting the bomber to fly over and it was a tribute to one of the last surviving members (edward saylor) of the doolittle raid on tokyo on april 18th, 1942. He was in the parade too. I can just imagine the sound of hundreds flying over in ww2. There is a bit of distortion as the plane flew directly overhead. Please comment on what you will use it for. :^).

Recording is a 24 bit stereo wav file. Literally using a "motivational speaker" tape found in a box (full of several more of these god awful things!) while digging through the neighborhood trash to test out and setup a pitch-shifted vocal patch for my noisecore project. Effects used: danelectro fish & chips eq, korg ax3g multi-effect, and alesis nanoverb direct to sound card. Processed in goldwave(compression to reduce peaks and fading on the beginning/end. ).

I had a need for some burps in a project, and decided to burp loudly into the mic whenever the urge arose while i was narrating. Beer aided the process quite a bit. These were collected over the course of several stories. I've studiously avoided sniffing my pop-filter, for obvious reasons. Mic is a rode procaster. Not that i think it is necessarily the microphone of choice for belching. Feel free to use the sound for whatever purpose you like.

I typed quite slow in the beginning if you need to edit out and synch with your footage, if you just want typing sound in the background i think the best is in the end of the clip. The mouse clicking comes later in the clip. I've mixed it a bit but might need more mixing. I've used freesound for 7 years now and i thought i would pay back for all the good sounds that i've used from freesound. More will come <3.

Recording of a courtyard garden fountain in the abbey gardens in bury st edmunds, suffolk. Recorded early on a sunday morning to minimalism unwanted sounds of people!. Recorded using a directional shotgun microphone into a zoom h4 recorder. Wind sock and hpf have been used to reduce rumble. This particular recording was taken a bit further back from the fountains to try and achieve a more ambient sound, capturing bird song, light winds, distant traffic and park keeper activity.

A series of wind rivers rushing through the turning oaks and hickories in illinois. Plenty of beautiful, swelling winds. Plus, a lot of dried leaves skitting across an asphalt parking lot. . . Makes a person peaceful at the upcoming autumn and winter season, while, at the sametime, adds a bit of sadness to summer's memories, now gone. Recorded on wednesday october 23rd, 2019. Modern noise - a quiet kitchen at night in an urban surrounding, and the constant sound of a big samsung fridge. Very distant tv sounds and voices. Recorded with a blue yeti on the floor (omnidirectional mode i think), cut to make it loop cleanly and boosted up a bit with goldwave. I kept it short (less than 2 minutes) to make it easier to manipulate in my video editor timelines. Hope someone finds it useful.

The soundscape at the bottom of the dried moat of arundel castle in late spring. There's a strong breeze running through the trees, crows calling, an aeroplane, a couple of flies buzz past. I was laying in the sunshine about 10 meters away, falling asleep :). Sound devices mixpre3 and rode svmx, bit of low cut applied (60hz, 12db/oct) and a small amount of higher frequency boost to compensate for the wind cut i had fitted.

I wanted to find a good creative commons 0 sound effect of fingernails scratching on a wooden surface but i could find the exact thing i was looking for. So i recorded myself scratching my bedroom door with my fingernails using a recording app on my phone and edited it in audacity to remove breathing sounds, and to make the sound feel more heavy/deep, including some very faint reverb. Since i really wanted this i thought it might be useful for someone else! i hope someone else out there like me finds this somewhat useful. Theres a bit of a clicking noise at the end - i think from the recording process.

The phone was put directly to the window pointing the mic outside the window. This is my first try to share some sound, hope you like it. I have 2 more and better rain sounds to come. It's an all synthetized sound created on audacity. I wanted to recreat the sound of an ovni, but not one that makes people scared : like there is only one alien in this ovni but it seems pretty nice. I started by created a new audiotrack, then i generated chirps and keeping the default values. Then i duplicated the track and made a stereo track of both. I add wahwah effect on the track, changing and modulate the different default values (for example, highest dept and a lot of resonance). After, i add phaser affect on the whole track to make the sound a little bit more spacial. Then i normalized the track. Last, i raised the speed twice by 2. Then i saved and export my sound. ______________________________________________. D'après moi c'est un son répété formant un groupe tonique, au timbre harmonique acide,au grain lisse et dynamique.

One of the most haunting sounds that i have ever captured. I got on the bus one day and didn't notice anyone on there when i sat down, and then a few moments later, i started hearing this sound. I was confused as to what to do. Do i turn around and look at this laugh-er in the face? what would a person laughing like this do to me if i looked at them? how could a person even laugh like this? it doesn't sound physically possible. As more and more people got on the bus, i saw nobody looking in his direction either. Am i maybe imagining this sound? is there a tiny many laughing in my head?. Upon leaving the bus, i looked back and couldn't tell who must have made the sound, but regardless, it still literally shakes me a bit hearing this audio. . . . Recorded with an android phone and edited in audacity.

The picked license is creative commons 0, but it'd be great if you could mention me in your work, if you ever use it for it, i'd like to take a look at what you've done. Recorder: moto g4 play (harpia), laying flat and facing down on the case. Microphone: built-in microphone. Encoding: wave (lossless, 32-bit float pcm). The new and improved ultra-soft noise v2 is here!. This has been optimized for itunes and other audio players. The file includes full tags and album art - 320kbps mp3. Simply log in and slam that download button. Free to download and distribute!. Created completely from end-to-end with open-source software. The audio has been updated to higher quality:3x the noise of the previous version, but with a slightly softer tone to increase effectiveness. Over 100 separate streams of noise was generated to create this. (v1 used 21 streams in 44khz/24-bit in a v0 mp3)the entire project was created, mixed, and mastered in 96khz/32-bit float. This file is limited to 1 hour because the use of a larger bit-rate and the amount of noise used. Helps with many sound pollution problems and audio-stimulus problems such as: sleep, concentration, tinnitus, headaches, and so much more!. If this has helped you, please share your story in the comments below and feel free to distribute this all over the web to help others!. I am leaving the original file https://freesound. Org/s/132275/ online for those who prefer it's tone and texture over this - v2 is a smoother and more relaxing texture.

Recording of a door being opened and closed, and then opened and closed again. Very slight footsteps (on carpet) can be heard. The microphone (sennheiser mkh-50) was intentionally placed about 5 feet away from the door so as to capture some of the natural room sound/reverb (which is very subtle). I have another recording available of the exact same door and mic setup, but aimed slightly off-axis to capture just a bit more room sound. Recorded into a tascam 208i audio interface and into adobe audition. Very minor processing (low-cut at 80hz to remove low-freq rumble).

Rough clean-up of the sounds :https://freesound. Org/people/yarmonics/sounds/445956/recorded by http://www. Yarmonics. Com/ https://freesound. Org/people/yarmonics/. I deleted parts with handling noise and normalized the sound. For a quick drag and drop in a video editing project and such. It's not perfect and i may have missed some handling noise hence "rough cleanup". But it's a bit better :)if this will be background noise in a video/music, you'll probably lower the volume and the handling noise will become much less apparent. Don't hesitate to eq out the lows too. Fritton lake, norfolk uk. Enjoy.
